Our Team: Queeta Hewitt, Director of Human Resources

Queeta Hewitt is the Director of Human Resources and Training for EVEN THE SCORE, LLC. She has 10 years of experience in various areas within the Human Resources field and has worked for some of the top companies in the Casino and Hotel industries. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993. She also received a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University in 2005.

She created the first formal internship and management trainee program for one of the major casino companies in Tunica, Mississippi in which she recruited students from various colleges and universities creating opportunities and exposing and representing her company at numerous Community and Profess ional Organizations and Associations. She was also instrumental in opening a hotel property and establishing all personnel policies and procedures and implementing training and staffing strategies. Queeta has always found pleasure in working with and developing people to help them to reach their potential as well as giving back to her community. She is responsible for the effective recruitment and staffing of personnel as well as training for EVEN THE SCORE, LLC.

Queeta’s love of sports stemmed from childhood memories of her family sitting around watching sports year round and cheering for their favorite teams. Queeta became a Pittsburg Steelers fan when she received a Pittsburg Steelers robe as a Christmas present at the tender age of 8. To this day, she still remains an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and enjoys watching sports of all kind. Her love and passion for sports coupled with recruiting, training and employee development are assets to EVEN THE SCORE, LLC.
